Overview

Over the past 25 years our private equity firm’s foundations were being laid by our stakeholder who originally was focussed on delivering enterprise performance management consulting services and solutions to multinational organisations. Over time this evolved into being invited to drive transformation agendas to turnaround non-performing international companies and restructuring distressed assets on behalf of high net worth investors. This evolution has resulted in creating our organisation that has the expertise and funds to create shareholder value by working with management teams in under performing companies.

Our private equity and performance innovation firm invests in companies operating below their capabilities and potentially experiencing significant changes in their industry segment. We actively pursue and nurture alignment with leadership teams by taking a controlling interest where we can create value with our financial capital, operational capabilities and transformation strategies.


Our contribution is a proactive and honest collaborative management style to turnaround companies with flexible investment structures that are executed in very short time frames with secured finances.

Private Equity

Our investments play a pivotal role in helping companies achieve their growth potential. We achieve this by identifying value opportunities in companies to increase their performance by providing capital and operational support. Our methodology enhances our portfolio of companies to further develop their core businesses, implement new initiatives, engage in transformational acquisitions and enhance their technologies to sustainably support implementing their strategy.

Our objective is to make the companies we invest in increase in value through a detailed strategy of transformation overseen by strong governance. Importantly we leverage the experience of our organisation and networks to provide the required strategic knowledge on numerous operational enhancements and innovation across revenue growth, margin improvement, strategic procurement, leadership training, process efficiencies, technology optimisation, employee wellbeing within a sustainable framework.

Turning Around Companies

Our disciplined operational support and access to capital allow us to step into distressed companies and recover them by improving strategy formulation and implementation encompassing transformational change resulting in increased financial performance. These are achieved with strong board governance, accountability and a concentrated shareholder base that are all crucial for the recovery and long-term success of a distressed company. Recovery to pre-distressed margins and EBITDA take on average 18 months to achieve.

One of our key requirements for achieving success is the active role that the new board members perform in defining goals, mentoring and leadership training for management to help them achieve performance targets within agreed timelines for actions.

Investment Criteria

We are flexible and can invest in a number of various situations with scenarios including family owned succession planning and exiting transitions, business unit carve outs, shareholder exits and capital restricted or non-performing companies that are in distress or in administration.

Our investment criteria vary for each unique opportunity with the following attributes provided as a guide:​

  • Industry agnostic

  • Operating history that is preferably greater than 5 years

  • An experienced management team with the willingness to develop the business

  • Established revenues of at least $3 million with potential for growth

  • Market and profit growth potential

  • Opportunity to transform operational performance

  • Not required to have positive EBITDA

  • Majority equity ownership position

  • Head office located in Melbourne Australia

  • Not a startup
